Why an empty result is not proof that no award exists
Seats.aero distinguishes cached searches from supported live searches. Cached results track covered routes; partner differences, passenger counts and dynamic pricing can affect what appears. A route outside cached coverage may require another search.

Use a missing result as a reason to check the airline directly, especially when dates are fixed. Conversely, treat a favorable tool result as a lead until the issuing program shows that it can complete the booking. Do not transfer points based solely on an alert email.
A low-cost search workflow
- Begin with the airline or program where you already have miles.
- Explore flexible dates using a free search tier if it covers your route.
- Check whether an existing card already includes a relevant search service.
- Buy a short subscription only when its additional coverage solves your actual search problem.
- Verify every promising result on the program that will issue the ticket.
For a single annual trip, a monthly subscription can be more appropriate than paying for a full year. Read renewal and cancellation terms. For a traveler searching often, alerts and longer date ranges may justify the expense, but usage is the deciding factor.
Check a result in five dimensions
- Date and airport codes: avoid an unwanted nearby airport.
