At JFK, begin with your terminal. Delta One Lounge, JetBlue BlueHouse and the British Airways/American premium lounges serve different travelers with different eligibility rules. A lounge across the airport may be unusable for your departure.

Travel date matters for Delta Basic Business
For a Basic Business ticket, the Delta transition runs through January 18, 2027. For later travel, check the new eligibility rules and any separate qualifying credentials. A Sky Club and a Delta One Lounge are distinct access decisions.

If the lounge is part of your purchasing decision, write its value into the fare comparison. Paying $300 more for a benefit you can use for only 20 minutes is different from arriving early for a leisurely meal. Leave enough time for the actual gate walk rather than using the boarding time as your departure from the lounge.
Check your terminal before planning the visit
Use JFK’s current map and airline directory. Airport construction and airline moves can change the route you expected. AirTrain movement between terminals is not a promise that you can enter another terminal’s secure area with your boarding pass or return without screening.

Keep the lounge plan subordinate to catching the flight. If you have a connection, count baggage, border checks if relevant, terminal movement and security. Do not count a minimum connection as leisure time available in a lounge.
Guest access and card benefits
Confirm whether children count as guests, whether guests need the same flight, and what a visit costs under your specific membership. A Priority Pass listing can have entry windows or capacity limits. An airline premium ticket can grant entry to the traveler without including a companion on an economy ticket.
Check benefits you already have before purchasing a pass or membership. This guide does not recommend a particular credit card. A card’s annual fee, eligibility and other benefits need a separate evaluation; lounge access alone does not establish that it is worthwhile.
